Donohue Generation: Perversity is Boring

We’re a Donohue generation, brought up on the idea that we needed to explore every sexual position we could. We were also told that “normal” masculine sexuality was dangerous, so I would wager that an abnormal percentage of Gen X males have been bottoms.
 
Yes, that’s evolution: Project all your sadistic, “masculine” desires onto a woman and make her act them out on you. Momma don’t teach your boys to grow up to be cowboys.
 
I think the real danger is that people find something simultaneously odious, arousing and boring. I think this is the standard situation in politics. And S&M. 
 
Or so I’ve been told.
